INSTALLATION: The K1634 housing is bolt-on or clamp-mount depending on the forklift model. Disconnect the intake hose from the housing outlet, remove the old filter element inside, clean the housing interior, install the new K1634 element with the seal properly seated, reconnect the hose, and secure. DUAL-STAGE MODELS: Replace the inner safety filter when replacing the outer filter — the safety filter should NEVER be cleaned and reused as this damages the filter media.
