Forklift Dashboard: Instrument Panels & Combination Meter Clusters

The dashboard is the operator’s entire information interface — engine hours, fuel level, temperature, oil pressure, warning indicators, and gauges all in one panel. When the dashboard fails, the operator flies blind: no warning of overheating, no fuel gauge, no indicator lights for low oil pressure or charging system failure. A dead dashboard means the forklift is unsafe to operate — not because the engine won’t run, but because the operator has no way to know if it’s about to fail catastrophically.

Kingstream supplies replacement dashboard instrument panels for HELI, Toyota, Komatsu, CAT, and Lonking forklifts. Every dashboard is powered up and tested for all gauge functions, warning lights, and hour meter operation before shipment, backed by a 6-month warranty.

Types of Forklift Dashboards:

Combination Meter Assembly — The complete instrument cluster with integrated fuel gauge, temperature gauge, hour meter, and warning light array. HELI H2000 K-series forklifts use the D04ZB-series combination meters. These are the primary dashboard for 2-10 ton HELI diesel and LPG forklifts.

Instrument Panel — Individual gauge panel with analog or digital displays. HZB-series panels are used on hydraulic and large-tonnage forklifts. The HZB141W is the standard instrument panel for Lonking 3-ton forklifts.

Dashboard with Indicators — Includes colored warning lights for: low oil pressure (red), charging system fault (red), glow plug preheat (amber), parking brake engaged (red), and turn signal indicators (green).

When to Replace Your Dashboard:

• Complete dashboard blank — no gauges, no lights, no hour meter → Check main power fuse first, then verify ground connection. If power and ground are good, replace dashboard.
• Individual gauge not working but others function → The gauge itself or its sending unit may be faulty. Test the sending unit before replacing the entire dashboard.
• Warning lights stay on continuously (false alarms) → Internal circuit board fault; replace dashboard
• Hour meter stopped counting or display is scrambled → Hour meter LCD failure; replace dashboard (hour meter is integrated, not serviceable separately)
• Visible moisture, corrosion, or burnt smell from the dashboard rear → Water ingress or electrical short has damaged the circuit board; replace immediately
