Forklift LED work lights provide forward illumination for the load and travel path — these are the most common replacement lights and are available in spot, flood, and combination beam patterns. Forklift warning lights project a blue or red zone on the floor around the forklift, alerting pedestrians to keep clear of the operating area. Safety beacons and strobe lights mount on the overhead guard and provide 360-degree visibility in noisy environments where audible warnings may not be heard. Headlights and tail lights are direct OEM replacements for road-registered forklifts that operate on public roads or in shared vehicle zones. How to Choose the Right Replacement Light

When replacing a forklift light, match three specifications: operating voltage — using a 12V light on a 24V system will burn out instantly, while a 24V light on 12V will be too dim; mounting type — surface-mount, bracket-mount, or recessed into the counterweight or overhead guard; and beam pattern — spot for distance illumination, flood for wide-area coverage, or combination for both. Also check the connector type, as some forklift LED lights use Deutsch or AMP connectors while others have bare wire leads.
