Forklift Engine Parts: Camshafts, Turbochargers, Fuel Lines & Hardware for Diesel Forklifts
Forklift engine parts beyond the main block and head assemblies include the camshafts that time valve events, turbochargers that boost intake air density, and fuel system components that deliver diesel to the injection pump. These parts are individually replaceable and represent the components most commonly needed during engine overhauls beyond the standard rebuild kit. Kingstream stocks forklift engine components for Cummins, Foton, JAC, and Chinese diesel engine platforms. The 4043949 is a Cummins camshaft, the 2410200500100 is a Foton fuel line assembly, and the 1006011FA covers JAC engine hardware. Every component is inspected for dimensional accuracy and surface condition.
Camshafts control the opening and closing of intake and exhaust valves through lobes that push against lifters, pushrods, and rocker arms. A worn camshaft lobe has reduced lift height, which decreases valve opening and restricts the engine breathing capacity — power loss develops gradually over hundreds of operating hours and is often misdiagnosed as fuel system or compression problems. Turbochargers force compressed air into the cylinders above atmospheric pressure, increasing the oxygen available for combustion and boosting power output by 30-50% compared to naturally aspirated engines. A failing forklift turbocharger leaks oil past worn shaft seals into the intake or exhaust, producing blue exhaust smoke and oil consumption. Fuel lines carry diesel from the filter to the injection pump — a cracked or porous fuel line allows air into the system, causing hard starting because air compresses while diesel does not, preventing injection pressure buildup.
When replacing forklift camshafts, always replace the lifters or tappets at the same time — a new camshaft lobe running against a worn lifter face will fail within the first 100 hours. Use assembly lube on all camshaft lobes and bearing journals during installation. Prime the oil system before first start. For turbochargers, replace the oil feed line when installing a new turbo — carbon-blocked feed lines are the most common cause of repeat turbocharger failure. Allow the engine to idle for 30 seconds before shutdown to allow the turbocharger to cool and the shaft to slow below the speed where oil coking occurs.

Quality Control at Kingstream
Every forklift engine part is inspected for the dimensions and surfaces that determine fit and service life. Camshafts are checked for lobe lift height and base circle runout. Turbochargers are inspected for shaft axial and radial play. Fuel lines are pressure-tested for leak integrity. You receive engine parts that meet OEM dimensional specifications.
