Forklift Brake Master Cylinder: Replacement Pumps for 1.5T-15T Forklifts — HELI BYD Hangcha OEM
The brake master cylinder converts the operator’s foot pressure on the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure that actuates the wheel cylinders or calipers — it is the single component between the driver’s foot and the brakes. A failing master cylinder causes a sinking brake pedal (internal seal bypass), complete brake loss (fluid leak past the piston), or a hard pedal with no stopping power (internal blockage). Unlike automotive master cylinders that can be rebuilt with a seal kit, most forklift master cylinders are replaced as complete units due to bore corrosion that a hone and new seals cannot correct.
Kingstream supplies replacement brake master cylinders for HELI, BYD, Hangcha, Toyota, and Komatsu forklifts from 1.5-ton to 15-ton capacity. Every cylinder is pressure-tested for internal seal integrity, piston stroke, and output pressure before shipment.
26 models in stock covering the full forklift capacity range.
When to Replace Your Brake Master Cylinder:
• Brake pedal slowly sinks to the floor under constant pressure → Internal seals are bypassing fluid. The master cylinder is worn. Replace
• Brake pedal is soft or spongy — pumps up but then sinks again → Air in the system or internal bypass. Bleed the system first; if the problem returns, replace the master cylinder
• No brake pressure despite full brake fluid reservoir — pedal goes to floor with no resistance → Complete internal seal failure or fluid leak. Check for external leaks first; if none, replace master cylinder
• Brake fluid leaking from the back of the master cylinder (where it bolts to the firewall/pedal assembly) → Rear seal has failed. Fluid is leaking into the operator cabin area. Replace
• Brake pedal is extremely hard with little stopping power → Internal blockage or the compensation port is clogged. The fluid cannot flow properly. Replace
Available by Capacity:
1.5T-3.5T Forklifts → HELI CPCD13, BYD 3.5T, Hangcha single-hole 40R pump. Small-bore master cylinders for light-to-medium braking systems.
5-7T Forklifts → 9+10 type master cylinder for HELI H2000, 25595-4030 brake master pump. Larger bore for increased fluid displacement to handle heavier brake systems.
10-15T Forklifts → Master cylinder with integrated reservoir for large-capacity forklifts. Higher fluid volume for multi-cylinder brake systems on heavy machinery.
