The forklift hydraulic clutch assembly is the complete friction pack unit that handles forward and reverse gear engagement in powershift transmissions. Unlike mechanical clutches that use a pedal-and-linkage system, hydraulic clutch packs engage and disengage through pressurized transmission fluid controlled by the transmission control valve — the operator simply moves the directional lever and the clutch pack engages smoothly without mechanical input. Each assembly contains the full set of friction discs, steel separator plates, hydraulic engagement piston with return springs, and clutch housing, pre-assembled as a single replacement unit.
