Forklift Transmission Parts: Shafts, Gears, Shift Forks & Gaskets for TCM Yanmar HELI Gearboxes
Forklift transmission parts for mechanical gearboxes include the internal shafts that support and locate gears, the shift forks that move synchronizer sleeves, and the gaskets that seal the gearbox housing against oil leaks and contamination. When any of these parts wears or fails, shifting becomes unreliable and the transmission may jump out of gear or leak fluid. Kingstream stocks replacement forklift transmission components for TCM, Yanmar, and HELI mechanical gearboxes. The 1E6B30-26652 shaft and 14634-402 gear are TCM OEM parts, while the 181E3-22021 gasket set fits HELI transmissions. Every part is measured for dimensional accuracy.
Transmission shafts run through the center of the gears on bearings or bushings — the shaft must be straight, with smooth bearing journals and unworn splines. A shaft with worn splines allows the mating gear to rock under load, creating backlash that clunks during direction changes and eventually strips the splines. Shift forks straddle the synchronizer sleeve and move it axially when the operator moves the shift lever — the fork pads that contact the sleeve wear with every shift. A worn forklift shift fork does not move the sleeve through its full travel, resulting in incomplete gear engagement where the dog teeth only partially overlap. This partial engagement causes the transmission to jump out of gear when the forklift is under load or traveling over bumps. Gaskets seal the junctions between gearbox housing sections — a leaking gasket allows oil to escape and water or dirt to enter, contaminating the transmission fluid and accelerating internal wear.
When rebuilding a forklift gearbox, always replace all gaskets and seals as a set — individual gasket replacement leads to sequential leaks as the remaining old gaskets fail one after another. Check all shafts for straightness using V-blocks and a dial indicator — a bent shaft causes gear misalignment and noise. Inspect shift fork pads for wear and replace forks with worn pads. After reassembly, fill the transmission with the specified oil grade and quantity, and check for leaks after the first operating hour.

Quality Control at Kingstream
Every forklift transmission part is measured for critical dimensions — shaft runout, gear tooth profile, and shift fork pad thickness. Gaskets are checked for correct material, thickness, and bolt hole alignment. You receive transmission parts that fit correctly and restore gearbox function.
