INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Safely lift and support the forklift axle. Remove the wheel nuts and pull the old wheel and tire assembly. Step 2 — Take the wheel assembly to a tire press or tire shop equipped with a hydraulic tire press — solid tires require a hydraulic press for mounting and demounting due to the tight interference fit between the tire and rim. Step 3 — Press the old solid tire off the steel rim. Step 4 — Clean the rim surface and inspect for damage, corrosion, or cracks. Replace the rim if damaged. Step 5 — Apply rubber lubricant to the new tire bead and rim surface. Step 6 — Using the hydraulic press, press the new solid tire onto the rim, ensuring the tire seats squarely and evenly around the entire circumference. Step 7 — Reinstall the complete wheel assembly onto the forklift and torque wheel nuts to specification. Step 8 — Verify proper wheel rotation without wobble or vibration.
