Installing the 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery requires connecting the positive and negative terminals to the load or charging system via appropriately sized cables rated for 100A continuous current. The integrated Battery Management System provides protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and cell voltage imbalance — the BMS is the critical safety component that prevents the thermal runaway risk associated with other lithium chemistries. The battery can be connected in series for higher voltage banks (up to 48V with four units) or in parallel for higher capacity configurations. After installation, verify the charging voltage is set to 13.8V and the BMS is properly balancing all cells.
