This forklift fuel sensor model RG1168-30H is manufactured by Kingstream with OEM/ODM customization available, designed as a direct replacement fuel level sensor for HELI and HEHANG 20-30N diesel and LPG forklifts. The fuel sensor mounts in the fuel tank and uses a float arm mechanism to measure the fuel level — as the float rises and falls with the fuel, the variable resistor in the sensor head sends a corresponding electrical signal to the forklift fuel gauge on the instrument panel, providing the operator with real-time fuel level readings. A failed fuel sensor causes the fuel gauge to read empty (float stuck at bottom), read full constantly (float stuck at top or shorted circuit), or fluctuate erratically (worn resistor track or corroded contact). Installing the RG1168-30H fuel sensor requires draining the fuel tank below the sensor mounting level, removing the old sensor from the tank top plate, and installing the replacement sensor with a new gasket to prevent fuel vapor leaks. The float arm must be oriented correctly — verify the float moves freely through its full travel range without contacting the tank walls or internal baffles before tightening the mounting bolts. Connect the wiring harness to the sensor terminals and test fuel gauge response by manually moving the float through its range while observing the gauge needle. For diesel engines that have been run dry, the fuel system may require bleeding after sensor replacement. 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the resistor track and float mechanism.
