Installing the YDJS-1210 throttle controller requires connecting the 12V DC power input to a regulated 12V supply from the forklift’s DC-DC converter or auxiliary battery, connecting the ground wire, and connecting the 0-10V analog output signal to the motor controller’s throttle input pin. The 0-10V output provides a higher signal-to-noise ratio than 0-5V systems — the wider voltage range means the controller can distinguish smaller pedal position changes for smoother speed control. After wiring, power the system and verify the output voltage sweeps linearly from approximately 0V at rest (fully released) to 10V at full throttle without dead spots, jumps, or erratic readings using a digital multimeter on the signal output wire. The motor controller must be calibrated for the specific voltage range — most controllers auto-calibrate by learning the minimum and maximum voltages when the pedal is cycled from full release to full press during the calibration procedure.
