The YDS45.903 is a monoblock hydraulic directional control valve designed for forklift mast and attachment hydraulic systems across a broad range of capacities. Each spool is manufactured from 20CrMnTi steel with case-hardened working surfaces to 58-62 HRC, operating within a tightly controlled diametral clearance of 8-15 microns. This precision fit is critical to the valve’s performance: too tight a clearance causes spool sticking, especially as the valve body expands at operating temperature; too loose a clearance results in excessive internal leakage that causes load drift and reduced hydraulic efficiency. Each spool section includes an integrated load check valve with a hardened steel poppet and precision-ground seat that positively traps pressurized oil in the cylinder circuit, preventing unwanted mast or fork movement during directional transitions. The adjustable main relief valve — a direct-acting poppet design with a spring-loaded adjustment mechanism — protects the complete hydraulic system from pressure spikes and over-pressure conditions.

The open-center circuit design routes pump flow through the valve gallery when all spools are centered, returning oil to the tank at low back pressure.
