This forklift steering wheel hub is manufactured from alloy steel through a forging+machining+heat treatment process — the same production method used for OEM steering components. Forging aligns the steel grain structure along the load path, making the hub significantly stronger than a cast or billet-machined equivalent at the same weight. The hub mounts the steering wheel to the steering column shaft on forklifts and industrial vehicles, transmitting the operator’s steering input to the hydraulic steering valve or mechanical steering gear. Dimensional verification is available through 2D (PDF/CAD) and 3D (IGES/STEP) drawing formats for custom applications.
