This is the Toyota rear steering hub for 7FB15 and 8FD-B15 series forklifts — a 6-hole hub that mounts on the steering knuckle spindle and carries the rear wheel bearings and wheel studs. Unlike front drive axle hubs that transmit engine torque, the rear steering hub carries only the vehicle weight and steering side loads. However, it’s subjected to high lateral forces during tight turns, especially on forklifts operating in narrow warehouse aisles where the steer tires scrub at full lock. The 6-hole bolt pattern must match exactly — Toyota 7FB and 8FD series rear hubs use a specific bolt circle diameter that is not interchangeable with other brands or even other Toyota series.
