Installing the radiator on a Heli H2000 forklift requires draining the engine coolant, disconnecting the upper and lower radiator hoses, removing the radiator mounting bolts from the chassis brackets, and lifting the old radiator out. The H2000 radiator mounts behind the engine fan within the fan shroud — the shroud must align perfectly with the new radiator to ensure the engine fan pulls air through the entire radiator core surface rather than around the edges of a misaligned shroud. Before installing the replacement, inspect the radiator mounting brackets for cracking or corrosion, and check the fan shroud for damage. Install the new radiator, reconnect the hoses with new clamps if the originals are corroded, refill with the correct coolant mixture, run the engine until the thermostat opens, bleed trapped air from the cooling system, and verify no leaks at any connection point. For Heli H2000 forklifts operating in dusty construction and agricultural environments, the aluminum radiator fins should be cleaned with compressed air from the engine side outward during every scheduled maintenance to prevent the progressive airflow blockage that causes gradual engine overheating.
