INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Safely lift and support the forklift axle with appropriate stands. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Step 2 — Drain the wheel hub gear oil into a clean container. Step 3 — Remove the wheel hub cover bolts and carefully separate the hub cover from the reduction gearbox housing. Step 4 — Remove the planetary gears from the old carrier by pulling the planet gear shafts. Inspect planet gears, needle bearings, and thrust washers for wear — replace any worn components. Step 5 — Unbolt and remove the old planetary carrier from the hub assembly. Step 6 — Install the new Kingstream OEM carrier, ensuring the 15-hole bolt pattern aligns correctly. Torque bolts to specification in a cross-pattern sequence. Step 7 — Install planet gears onto the new carrier with fresh gear oil lubrication on all bearing surfaces. Step 8 — Reinstall the hub cover with a new gasket or sealant, and torque cover bolts to specification. Step 9 — Refill the wheel hub with the correct specification gear oil to the fill plug level.
