INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Remove the drive axle assembly from the forklift and drain the differential gear oil. Step 2 — Disassemble the axle housing to access the differential carrier assembly. Step 3 — Remove the differential carrier from the axle housing. Step 4 — Mark the differential case halves for reassembly alignment. Step 5 — Separate the differential case and remove the old planetary carrier along with the spider gears. Step 6 — Inspect the differential case bearings, ring gear teeth, and axle shaft splines — replace any components showing wear, scoring, or pitting. Step 7 — Install the new Kingstream OEM planetary carrier with spider gears into the differential case. Verify proper gear mesh and smooth rotation of all gears by hand. Step 8 — Reassemble the differential case halves with correct bolt torque and thread locking compound.
