Forklift Hydraulic Tilt Cylinder 31850-53130 (LH) / 31850-53140 (RH) — Nichiyu FBR15-75C Reach Truck Tilt Cylinder
This forklift hydraulic tilt cylinder set includes both left-hand (31850-53130) and right-hand (31850-53140) tilt cylinders for Nichiyu FBR15-75C reach trucks in warehousing, retail, manufacturing, and material handling. The tilt cylinders are the double-acting hydraulic actuators that pivot the forklift mast forward and backward — the tilt function is essential for load stability when traveling and for engaging/disengaging loads from pallets and racking. 100% brand-new with black finish. LH: 2.9kg, RH: 3.5kg. Gross weight: 3.75kg per cylinder. Precision manufacture with durable construction for long service life. 6-month warranty. 100% professional tested. Kingstream OEM for Nichiyu FBR15-75C forklift fleet mast tilt cylinder replacement.
TILT CYLINDER OPERATION: When the operator pushes the tilt control lever forward, hydraulic oil is directed to the rod end of the tilt cylinders, retracting the cylinder rods and tilting the mast forward. When the operator pulls the lever back, oil is directed to the cap end, extending the rods and tilting the mast backward. The double-acting design provides hydraulic force in both directions — this allows the operator to precisely control the mast angle for picking up, transporting, and placing loads. The tilt angle is typically 6 degrees forward and 12 degrees backward from vertical. Without functioning tilt cylinders, the forklift cannot safely handle loads — the mast would remain rigidly vertical, making load pickup from pallets extremely difficult and load transport unsafe due to the risk of the load sliding forward. INSTALLATION: Step 1 — Lower the forks and mast fully to relieve hydraulic pressure. Step 2 — Support the mast with an overhead crane or blocking to prevent it from falling when the cylinders are removed. Step 3 — Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the cylinder ports — label the hoses as the rod-end and cap-end connections differ between LH and RH cylinders. Step 4 — Remove the cylinder mounting pins at the rod end (attached to the mast) and cap end (attached to the chassis). Step 5 — Extract the old cylinder. Step 6 — Install the new cylinder — ensure the LH cylinder mounts on the left side and RH on the right side. Install the mounting pins and secure with retaining clips or bolts. Step 7 — Reconnect the hydraulic hoses to the correct ports. Step 8 — Bleed air from the system by cycling the tilt function 5-10 times. Step 9 — Check for hydraulic fluid leaks at the rod seal and port fittings under load. Step 10 — Verify the mast tilt angle matches the Nichiyu FBR15-75C specification. 6-month warranty.
