A forklift light is an illumination or signaling device mounted on the overhead guard, counterweight, mast, or front/rear panels of a forklift truck to provide forward visibility, directional signaling, warning indication, and safety zone marking during material handling operations. Forklift lighting falls into four primary categories: headlights (front illumination for safe operation in low-light environments), turn signals (directional indicators alerting pedestrians and vehicle operators to intended turns), strobe beacons & warning lights (rotating or flashing visual alerts for forklift presence), and safety/red zone lights (floor-projected safety boundaries). Lighting failure on a forklift creates immediate safety hazards — a failed headlight eliminates forward visibility in dark warehouses and outdoor yards, a failed turn signal prevents directional communication with pedestrians, and a failed strobe beacon makes the forklift invisible to workers in high-noise environments where audible alarms are masked. Light Type & Selection Guide:
• Headlight (Front Illumination) — 4-inch to 5-inch LED work lights and square headlights (105×115mm) with IP67 waterproof rating. Available in 12V-24V, 12V-48V, and 12V-80V universal voltage for mixed-voltage forklift fleets.
• Turn Signal (Directional Indicator) — Double-sided 3-line lamps (85mm, 81.5mm), linear 155mm indicators, and compact 100×50mm signals. 12V, 24V, and 12V-80V universal for all forklift electrical systems.
• Strobe Beacon & Warning Light — Rotating flash alarm indicators with integrated audible alert, smart LED infrared strobes (100mm), and SG-SR5B series 10-80V beacons. 360-degree visual warning coverage.
• Safety & Red Zone Light — Floor-projected red zone LED (JS-0201) that creates a visible safety boundary around the operating forklift, alerting pedestrians to maintain safe distance.
• Tail Light (Rear Signal) — LED rear combination tail light (835×60mm) with 3-color output for turn, brake, and running light functions. IP65 waterproof with aluminum alloy housing for HELI and JAC forklifts.

When to Replace / Common Failure Symptoms:
• Headlight flickers or produces dim output → LED driver failing or corroded connection — replace headlight assembly
• Turn signal flashes rapidly or stays on continuously → LED circuit failure or incorrect voltage — replace signal light
• Strobe beacon stopped flashing but makes clicking sound → LED driver operational but LED array failed — replace strobe
• Red zone light projects uneven or distorted boundary line → Lens contaminated, cracked, or LED array partially failed — clean or replace
• Headlight housing shows condensation or moisture inside → IP seal compromised — replace with IP67-rated unit
• Tail light sections (brake/turn/running) fail individually → Internal LED array or wiring fault — replace complete tail light assembly
