This clutch disc is a versatile multi-brand replacement friction plate for 3-ton diesel forklifts, compatible with Heli, TCM, Liugong, and other Chinese and Asian-manufactured forklifts in the 3-ton capacity class. The clutch disc is the essential torque-transfer component in a manual transmission drivetrain, positioned between the engine flywheel and pressure plate assembly. When engaged, the pressure plate clamps the disc friction facings against the flywheel face, transmitting full engine torque through the splined center hub into the transmission input shaft and onward to the drive wheels. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the pressure plate releases its clamping force, the disc freewheels, and the operator can select gears without grinding. A worn clutch disc — indicated by slipping under load on ramps, high clutch pedal engagement point, burning odor, or difficulty shifting — must be replaced immediately to prevent damage to the flywheel and pressure plate friction surfaces.

Constructed with high-quality organic or semi-metallic friction facing material securely riveted to both sides of a steel core plate, this disc provides the consistent torque capacity and smooth engagement required for loaded forklift operation on ramps and during heavy acceleration. The sprung-center hub incorporates multiple torsional damper coil springs that absorb the inherent power-pulse vibrations of four-cylinder diesel engines, delivering smooth clutch take-up without judder or shock loading to the transmission geartrain. The hub spline bore is precision-broached for accurate sliding fit on the transmission input shaft, and the entire assembly is individually spin-balanced to minimize vibration during operation.
