This is the oil water separator (part number XR708-341000-G00) for HELI, Hangcha, and EP forklifts — a genuine replacement fuel filtration component that removes water and particulate contaminants from diesel fuel before it reaches the injection pump and injectors. The separator uses a steel housing with a paper filter element that captures solid contaminants while the settling chamber at the bottom separates water from the fuel by gravity (water is denser than diesel and sinks to the bottom of the chamber). The function is to filtrate — filter out — both dust and water from the fuel, protecting the injection pump’s precision-machined plunger-and-barrel assemblies and the injector nozzle tips from abrasive wear and water-induced corrosion.
