INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Disconnect the battery negative cable. Step 2 — Remove any access panels blocking the starter. Step 3 — Disconnect the main battery cable and solenoid control wire from the starter terminals. Step 4 — Support the starter weight (25kg) and remove the mounting bolts from the bell housing. Step 5 — Remove the old starter. Step 6 — Clean the mounting surface on the bell housing. Step 7 — Install the new starter, torque mounting bolts to specification. Step 8 — Reconnect main cable and solenoid wire. Step 9 — Reconnect battery and test cranking. Step 10 — Verify smooth pinion engagement and disengagement after engine starts. 100% tested.
