INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Park the forklift on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and chock the wheels. Step 2 — Remove the wheel nuts and wheel assembly using appropriate lifting equipment. Step 3 — Release the brake shoe adjuster to back the brake shoes away from the drum. Step 4 — Remove the axle shaft retaining hardware and slide the axle shaft out partially to access the hub. Step 5 — Remove the old integrated brake hub from the axle housing by removing the hub retaining nut and using a puller if necessary. Step 6 — Clean the axle spindle and bearing surfaces thoroughly. Inspect the wheel bearings for wear — replace if any pitting, scoring, or discoloration is present. Step 7 — Pack new wheel bearings with high-temperature wheel bearing grease and install into the new hub. Step 8 — Install the new hub onto the spindle, torque the retaining nut to specification, and adjust bearing preload. Step 9 — Reinstall the axle shaft, brake drum, and wheel assembly.
