This forklift brake vacuum booster is a power-assist device designed for 5-10 ton internal combustion forklifts equipped with vacuum-assisted hydraulic brake systems. The vacuum booster amplifies the mechanical force applied by the driver on the brake pedal, using engine intake manifold vacuum to create a pressure differential across a large-diameter diaphragm, multiplying pedal effort by approximately 4-6 times. This reduces driver fatigue during frequent stop-and-go operations in warehouse and logistics environments.

The booster housing is constructed from heavy-gauge stamped steel with a corrosion-resistant electrocoat finish, assembled with a reinforced double-diaphragm design that provides consistent power assist across the full pedal travel range. The internal reaction disc and valve assembly are precision-calibrated to deliver progressive brake feel. The atmospheric valve draws filtered air through a foam silencer element, and the one-way check valve on the vacuum inlet port prevents vacuum loss during engine shutdown.
