JF131X 14V 500W Alternator for XinChai Forklift Diesel Engines

The JF131X 14V 500W (approximately 35-ampere) alternator is a higher-output variant of the JF131 series, designed for XinChai 490, 495, 498, and compatible 4-cylinder diesel engines powering 2-5 ton HELI, Hangcha, and Lonking internal combustion counterbalance forklifts where the electrical load demands exceed the capabilities of the standard 350W model. The 500W rating — representing a 43% increase in charging capacity over the 350W version — provides additional electrical headroom for forklifts equipped with extra work lights, cab heater fans, hydraulic solenoid controls, electronic engine management systems, or that operate in cold climates where extra glow plug pre-heat time and repeated starting cycles place higher demands on the battery and charging system.

The alternator features a Lundell claw-pole rotor design with a reinforced field coil capable of the higher excitation current required for 500W output. The three-phase stator windings use heavier-gauge copper wire to handle the increased current, and the six-diode bridge rectifier uses higher-current silicon diodes mounted on an enlarged aluminum heat sink for effective thermal management at sustained full-load operation. An integrated solid-state voltage regulator maintains output at 14.0-14.5V DC, with built-in temperature compensation that slightly reduces charging voltage as ambient temperature rises — critical for preventing battery overcharging in the hot engine compartments of forklifts operating in warehouses, foundries, and tropical climates. The alternator incorporates sealed double-row ball bearings, an integrated pulley cooling fan, and ventilated end housings for convective heat dissipation at rated output.
