Forklift Brake Wheel Cylinder — 1-15 Ton Universal Caliper Brake Wheel Cylinder
This forklift brake wheel cylinder is a Kingstream OEM universal caliper-type brake wheel cylinder compatible with 1-15 ton forklifts from Heli, Dalian, Tailift, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and Komatsu in building material, manufacturing, construction, port, warehousing, logistics, mining, and agricultural environments. The wheel cylinder — also called the brake slave cylinder or brake sub-pump — is the hydraulic actuator at each wheel that converts the pressurized brake fluid from the master cylinder into the mechanical force that pushes the brake shoes outward against the brake drum. When the operator presses the brake pedal, the master cylinder pressurizes brake fluid through the brake lines to the wheel cylinder. The hydraulic pressure drives the wheel cylinder piston outward, forcing the brake shoes against the rotating drum to generate the friction that decelerates and stops the forklift. The 1-15 ton universal compatibility makes this wheel cylinder suitable for fleet operators managing mixed-brand equipment — from small 1 ton warehouse forklifts to heavy 15 ton port and industrial forklifts. 5kg with wooden box packaging. 100% professional tested with 7-15 day delivery. Kingstream OEM quality.
Installing a brake wheel cylinder on a forklift requires removing the wheel and brake drum, disconnecting the brake hydraulic line from the wheel cylinder, unbolting the old cylinder from the brake backing plate, cleaning the backing plate mounting surface of corrosion and brake dust, installing the new Kingstream OEM wheel cylinder with new sealing washers on the hydraulic connection, reconnecting the brake line, reinstalling the brake drum, and bleeding the brake system to remove trapped air from the hydraulic circuit. The wheel cylinder must be properly oriented — the bleeder valve should face upward to allow air to escape during bleeding. After installation, refill the master cylinder reservoir with the correct brake fluid, bleed the brake system starting from the wheel farthest from the master cylinder, and verify firm brake pedal feel with no fluid leaks at the wheel cylinder hydraulic connection or dust boot seals. A leaking wheel cylinder causes progressive brake fluid loss, a soft or spongy brake pedal, and fluid contamination of the brake shoes — fluid-soaked brake shoes must be replaced along with the wheel cylinder. For multi-brand forklift fleets in heavy-duty operations, wheel cylinders should be inspected during every brake shoe replacement for corrosion, piston seizure, and dust boot integrity. 100% professional tested quality. Kingstream OEM for multi-brand forklift fleet operators.
