King Pin Kit for 3T G Series Electric Forklift
The king pin kit is the complete steering knuckle pivot bearing set for the rear axle — including the kingpin (main pivot pin), upper and lower bushings or needle bearings, thrust washers, and retaining hardware. On 3-ton G Series electric forklifts, the king pin kit supports the full rear axle load as the steering knuckle pivots around the kingpin axis. A worn king pin kit produces vertical play at the wheel — you can feel it by jacking up the rear of the forklift and rocking the wheel top-to-bottom — plus steering wander, uneven tire wear, and a metallic knocking when crossing dock plates. Unlike tie rod ends that only affect steering precision, worn kingpin bearings directly affect vehicle stability under load.
Manufactured with hardened and ground kingpin shafts, precision-machined bushings or needle bearings, and hardened thrust washers, this king pin kit restores the tight kingpin-to-bore clearance required for accurate steering geometry. Always replace kingpin kits as a complete set on both sides — replacing only one side creates asymmetric pivot friction that causes the forklift to pull to one side during steering.
