This Tailift king pin kit restores the critical kingpin-to-bore clearance at the steering knuckle pivot on the rear axle. A worn kingpin produces vertical wheel play detectable by jacking the rear wheel and rocking top-to-bottom, steering wander at travel speed, and a metallic knock over uneven surfaces.
