INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Remove the old engine following the machinery manufacturer removal procedure. Drain all fluids. Step 2 — Transfer all reusable engine-mounted accessories (starter, alternator, turbocharger, fuel injection pump, water pump, engine mounts) to the new engine if not included. Step 3 — Inspect and replace the engine mounts if worn — the Yanmar TNV series uses vibration-isolating rubber mounts that degrade over time. Step 4 — Align the new engine with the transmission or hydraulic pump coupling. Step 5 — Bolt the engine to the machine chassis using correct torque specifications. Step 6 — Reconnect fuel lines, coolant hoses, exhaust, air intake, electrical harness, throttle linkage, and hydraulic connections. Step 7 — Fill with the correct specification diesel engine oil (typically 15W-40 CJ-4 for TNV series). Step 8 — Fill the cooling system with the correct coolant mixture. Prime the fuel system by operating the manual feed pump until fuel flows bubble-free at the injection pump. Step 9 — Crank the engine with the fuel shut off until oil pressure registers, then start and immediately check for oil pressure, coolant circulation, and abnormal noises. Step 10 — Run the engine at idle for 15 minutes to reach operating temperature, then re-torque cylinder head bolts and adjust valve lash to Yanmar specification. 6-12 month warranty. Kingstream OEM.
