Installing the Curtis 1268-5403 sepex motor controller requires mounting in a clean, ventilated location with adequate clearance for the heatsink, connecting the battery power cables to B+ and B- terminals, connecting the separately excited motor armature to M- and A2 and the field winding to F1 and F2 terminals, and connecting the throttle input matching one of three supported types: 3-wire potentiometer (5kΩ-10kΩ resistance), 0-5V voltage signal, or 2-wire electronic ITS (Inductive Throttle Sensor).
