HELI/TCM Forklift Reducer Assembly 15803-50001 — CPCD50-100, FD80-100Z8, Kingstream OEM, DE00-003A
This is the reducer assembly (part number 15803-50001, FLS reference DE00-003A) for HELI H2000 series CPCD50-70-C10 (5-7 ton) and CPCD80-100 (8-10 ton) heavy forklifts, as well as TCM FD80-100Z8 (8-10 ton) machines. The reducer assembly — also called final drive reducer or wheel-end reduction gearbox — is the gear unit mounted at each drive wheel that provides the final gear reduction between the drive axle half-shaft and the wheel hub. On a heavy forklift in the 5-10 ton class, the reducer assembly serves two critical functions: it multiplies the torque from the drive axle (typically a planetary gear set providing a 3:1 to 6:1 reduction ratio, multiplying axle torque by that factor at each wheel), and it offsets the wheel centerline from the axle centerline (the planetary carrier or bull gear housing positions the wheel hub below or behind the axle shaft to provide ground clearance while keeping the axle at the correct height). A failed reducer assembly — typically from oil starvation (the gear oil leaks out through a failed seal and the gears run dry), broken gear teeth from shock loading (hitting a dock plate or pothole at speed with a full load), or bearing failure (the planetary pinion needle bearings seize and destroy the sun gear and ring gear) — locks the affected wheel, making the forklift immobile or dangerous to operate. The reducer assembly is the final link in the drivetrain before the wheel itself, and its failure is immediately obvious: loud grinding from the wheel end, the forklift pulling to one side under power, or complete loss of drive on the affected wheel.
Kingstream, manufactured in Shandong, China. OEM part number 15803-50001, FLS reference DE00-003A. New condition, transmission parts / reducer assy type. Applicable brands: TCM and HELI. Applicable models: HELI H2000 K Series CPCD80-100 and HELI H2000 Series CPCD50-70-C10, plus TCM FD80-100Z8. When replacing a reducer assembly, always drain the gear oil and inspect for metal particles — metal in the oil indicates the old reducer failed from gear or bearing damage, and the drive axle oil should be flushed to remove any debris before installing the new reducer. Verify the axle half-shaft splines are not worn or twisted — a damaged axle shaft will damage the new reducer’s sun gear splines within hours. Always replace the wheel seal and axle shaft seal when replacing the reducer — these seals are the barrier between gear oil and the outside world, and a failed seal is the most common cause of reducer failure. Fill the reducer with the correct grade and quantity of gear oil before operation — running a dry reducer, even for a few minutes to move the forklift, will destroy the gears and bearings. Torque the reducer-to-axle mounting bolts to the factory specification in a cross-pattern sequence. Re-check bolt torque after the first 50 hours of operation.
Compatible with HELI H2000 K Series CPCD80-100 (8-10T) and CPCD50-70-C10 (5-7T), plus TCM FD80-100Z8 (8-10T). Browse our gearbox assembly selection. Visit HELI official website.
