This cast housing provides the main structural casing for the powershift transmission, holding the gear train, shafts, bearings, and clutch assemblies in precise alignment. At 59.5 kg, this is a substantial cast component that forms the backbone of the transmission system — the housing must maintain exact bearing bore concentricity and mounting face flatness to prevent gear misalignment that leads to accelerated tooth wear, bearing failure, and transmission fluid leaks at the gasket surfaces.

The straight-type designation distinguishes this housing from the earlier angled-type design used on pre-2015 CPCD models — the straight-type provides improved transmission fluid drainage back to the sump and better access to the control valve mounting surface during service. This housing fits HELI CPCD20 (2-ton), CPCD25 (2.5-ton), and CPCD30 (3-ton) diesel forklifts with the powershift transmission. The bolt pattern, dowel pin locations, and bearing bore diameters are identical across the three capacity classes — only the internal gear ratios differ. Replacing this housing requires complete transmission removal and disassembly.
