MULTI-WAY VALVE OPERATION: Each valve spool section controls one hydraulic function — a double F15 has two spools, typically one for fork lifting and one for mast tilting. Operator moves the control lever forward or backward, which pushes or pulls the spool inside the valve body. The spool positioning determines which work port receives hydraulic pressure and which returns oil to the tank. The spool also meters flow — partial lever movement provides fine control for precise load positioning, while full lever movement provides maximum speed. INSTALLATION: Relieve hydraulic pressure, disconnect and label hoses from each valve section, disconnect control lever linkages, unbolt the valve from its mounting bracket, install the new valve, reconnect hoses with new O-rings to correct ports, reconnect linkages and adjust lever travel, refill fluid, bleed air by cycling all functions, check for leaks.
