The CDB-F20 series is a modular hydraulic valve that controls lift, tilt, and auxiliary attachment functions through individual spool sections connected in series — the F20 designation indicates the 20mm nominal spool diameter for high flow capacity in medium to heavy-duty forklifts. INSTALLATION: Relieve hydraulic pressure, disconnect and label all hoses from each valve section, disconnect control lever linkages, unbolt the valve from its mounting bracket, install the new CDB-F20-03 valve, reconnect hoses with new O-rings to the correct ports (each section has P/T/A/B ports), reconnect linkages and adjust lever travel and neutral position, refill hydraulic fluid, bleed air by cycling all functions, check for leaks at all connections, verify smooth proportional control of lift, tilt, and auxiliary functions. 1-year warranty. SYMPTOMS OF FAILURE: External oil leaks from spool seals, jerky or uncontrolled cylinder movement, control lever drift causing cylinder creep, inability to operate specific hydraulic functions, excessive hydraulic system noise under load.
