The original double-handled direction switch is an OEM steering column-mounted dual-stalk control assembly for HELI CPD30 electric counterbalance forklifts. The left-hand stalk controls the turn signals (up for right, down for left), while the right-hand stalk selects forward or reverse travel direction — enabling the operator to change direction without removing hands from the steering wheel during frequent forward-reverse shuttle operations in narrow warehouse aisles. A worn direction switch that requires wiggling the stalk to engage drive creates a safety hazard when the forklift fails to respond to direction changes in confined spaces.

Built to HELI OEM specifications with sealed microswitch contacts using silver-alloy terminals rated for millions of switching cycles. The steering column clamp mount with M8 hardware fits the CPD30 column diameter directly without adapter bushings, and the multi-pin connector plugs into the factory CPD30 wiring harness.
