Forklift Clutch Disc 255mm 10-Tooth — Universal Forklift Clutch Friction Plate for Most Forklift Trucks

This forklift clutch disc with 255mm outer diameter and 10-tooth spline hub is a Kingstream OEM universal clutch friction plate for most forklift trucks, including Heli, Hangcha, TCM, Komatsu, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and other counterbalance forklifts in material handling, construction, warehousing, and manufacturing environments. The clutch disc is the friction component sandwiched between the engine flywheel and the clutch pressure plate — it transfers engine power through its splined hub to the transmission input shaft. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the pressure plate releases and the disc stops transmitting power, allowing gear changes. The friction material on both sides provides controlled engagement and smooth power delivery. 255mm diameter × 10-tooth spline. 3kg with 30×30×7cm carton box or wooden box packaging. 100% professional tested. 7-15 day delivery. Kingstream OEM quality for forklift fleet clutch maintenance programs.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Step 1 — Remove the transmission from the engine to access the clutch assembly. Step 2 — Evenly loosen and remove the clutch pressure plate bolts in a cross-pattern — NEVER remove all bolts from one side first as this can warp the pressure plate. Step 3 — Remove the pressure plate and extract the old clutch disc from between the flywheel and pressure plate. Step 4 — Inspect the flywheel friction surface for scoring, heat checking, or cracking — resurface or replace if damaged. A worn flywheel will destroy a new clutch disc prematurely. Step 5 — Inspect the transmission input shaft splines for wear or burrs — dress with a fine file if necessary. Step 6 — Clean the flywheel and pressure plate friction surfaces with brake cleaner — remove all oil, grease, and fingerprints. Step 7 — Using a clutch alignment tool inserted through the disc spline hub and into the pilot bearing, position the new clutch disc against the flywheel with the correct orientation — the longer hub side typically faces the transmission. Step 8 — Install the pressure plate over the alignment tool and hand-tighten bolts evenly. Step 9 — Torque pressure plate bolts in a cross-pattern to specification. Remove the alignment tool. Step 10 — Reinstall the transmission, ensuring the input shaft engages the disc splines smoothly without forcing. Step 11 — Adjust clutch pedal free play to specification. Step 12 — Test drive and verify smooth clutch engagement without slipping or chattering. Kingstream OEM.

SYMPTOMS OF CLUTCH DISC FAILURE: Clutch slipping under load (engine RPM increases without corresponding vehicle speed increase), difficulty shifting gears or grinding during shifts, clutch chatter or judder during engagement, burning smell from slipping clutch, clutch pedal pulsation, and inability to disengage the clutch completely (clutch drag).
