This forklift hydraulic relief valve model CDB2-F15 is a Kingstream OEM multi-channel split hydraulic pressure regulator for forklift trucks in manufacturing, construction, warehousing, and material handling. The relief valve is integrated into the hydraulic control valve block and serves as the system pressure safety device — it limits the maximum hydraulic system pressure by opening a bypass path to the tank when pressure exceeds the setpoint, protecting the pump, hoses, cylinders, and other hydraulic components from overpressure damage. 0.3kg with carton packaging. 3-month warranty. HOW RELIEF VALVES WORK: The CDB2-F15 is a direct-acting pressure relief valve. A spring-loaded poppet or ball is held against a seat by an adjustable spring. When hydraulic system pressure exceeds the spring force (the relief pressure setting), the poppet lifts off its seat, allowing hydraulic oil to flow through a bypass passage back to the tank. This prevents system pressure from exceeding the safe operating limit. When pressure drops below the setpoint, the spring reseats the poppet and normal flow resumes. INSTALLATION: Relieve hydraulic pressure, remove the original relief valve from the control valve block, clean the valve bore in the control valve, install the new CDB2-F15 relief valve with the correct O-ring or gasket, torque to specification, refill hydraulic fluid, start the engine and use a pressure gauge to set the relief pressure to the forklift specification, lock the adjustment screw.
