RELIEF VALVE FUNCTION: The CDB7-F15 is installed in the TCM forklift hydraulic control valve block and limits the maximum system pressure to prevent overpressure damage. When hydraulic pressure exceeds the spring-set relief point, the 18mm spool opens a bypass passage, diverting excess oil to the tank. This protects the hydraulic pump, hoses, cylinders, and valve seals from damage caused by dead-heading (when the cylinder reaches the end of its stroke) or shock loading. INSTALLATION: Relieve hydraulic pressure, remove the old relief valve from the control valve block, clean the valve bore, install the new CDB7-F15 with the correct O-ring, torque to specification, refill fluid, use a pressure gauge to set the relief pressure, and lock the adjustment.
