The R45 speed limit valve is a dedicated hydraulic flow governor for R45 series forklift lift cylinder circuits. Mounted inline on the lift cylinder return line, it meters the oil flow back to the tank during mast lowering — capping descent velocity regardless of load weight. The valve uses a spring-loaded pressure compensator: heavier loads generate higher back pressure, which forces the spool to tighten the metering orifice proportionally. This ensures the same smooth, controlled lowering speed whether the forks are empty or carrying a full pallet.

Built with a cast iron body for thermal stability during continuous operation, this valve mounts directly on the cylinder port block using standard BSPP fittings.
