This forklift friction plate size 108×172×2mm is a Kingstream OEM gearbox separator plate for TCM forklift automatic transmissions in manufacturing, construction, port, warehousing, and material handling. The friction plate is a steel separator disc installed between the clutch friction discs inside the transmission clutch pack — it provides the rigid surface against which the friction-lined discs engage and disengage during gear changes. The 2mm thickness is a critical specification for correct clutch pack clearance — plates that are too thick or too thin cause improper clutch engagement and transmission damage. 1kg with 15×15×5cm carton box packaging. 100% professional tested. 7-15 day delivery. INSTALLATION: Step 1 — Remove and disassemble the transmission to access the clutch pack. Step 2 — Remove the clutch pack from the shaft. Step 3 — Note the stacking order of friction discs and steel separator plates — they alternate in a specific sequence. Step 4 — Remove the old separator plates and inspect the friction discs for wear — replace friction discs if worn below minimum thickness. Step 5 — Soak new friction discs in the correct transmission fluid for at least 30 minutes before installation. Step 6 — Rebuild the clutch pack alternating friction discs and new separator plates in the original sequence. Step 7 — Measure the total clutch pack height and compare to the TCM specification — adjust the number or thickness of plates if needed to achieve the correct clutch pack clearance.
