Forklift Hydraulic Double Gear Pump CBHYA-G36 / F3.5-AT — 25 MPa High-Pressure Dual Pump Unit for Forklift Hydraulic Systems
This forklift hydraulic gear pump model CBHYA-G36 / F3.5-AT is a Kingstream OEM double (tandem) gear pump for forklift trucks, loaders, excavators, cranes, and industrial hydraulic equipment. This is a dual pump unit combining two gear pumps of different displacement in a single housing — the larger fore pump (36 mL/r displacement, 25 MPa rated / 28 MPa max) provides main hydraulic flow for lift and tilt functions, while the smaller hind pump (3.5 mL/r displacement, 20 MPa rated / 25 MPa max) provides flow for power steering or auxiliary circuits. High-strength cast iron fore/rear housings with aluminum alloy construction. Internal DU self-lubricating bearings. Automatic axial clearance compensation system maintains high volumetric efficiency (92% fore / 85% hind) across the service life. Rated speed: 2500 rpm (min 800 rpm, max 3000 rpm). 6.8kg, dimensions L1=123mm, L2=123mm, L=205mm. ISO9001:2008 certified. Diamond (oval) flange mounting with SAE spline shaft. Special port connection (ATΦ designation). Kingstream OEM for forklift hydraulic system pump replacement.
DUAL PUMP ADVANTAGE: The CBHYA double gear pump eliminates the need for two separate pumps and the associated mounting, plumbing, and drive complexity. The two pump sections share a common drive shaft — the fore pump (large displacement 36 mL/r) powers the main hydraulic work circuit (mast lift, tilt, attachments), while the hind pump (small displacement 3.5 mL/r) powers the power steering or pilot control circuit at a different pressure setting (20 MPa vs 25 MPa). This separation of circuits prevents steering performance degradation when the main lift circuit is under full load — the operator maintains precise steering control even during heavy lifting. The axial clearance auto-compensation uses floating side plates that press against the gear faces under hydraulic pressure, maintaining minimum clearance for high volumetric efficiency without gear-to-housing contact. INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE: Mount the pump using the diamond (oval) four-bolt flange to the engine PTO pad or transmission adapter — ensure the SAE spline shaft engages the drive coupling correctly. Connect the IN and OUT ports for both pump sections — the larger ports correspond to the 36 mL/r fore pump and the smaller ports to the 3.5 mL/r hind pump. Do not cross-connect the circuits. Fill BOTH pump inlet ports with clean hydraulic oil before starting — the small hind pump is especially susceptible to dry-start damage due to its low displacement and tight clearances. Start the engine at low idle and verify that both pump sections build pressure — check the fore pump circuit pressure at the main control valve test port, and the hind pump circuit at the steering orbitrol or pilot valve. Bleed air from both circuits by cycling all hydraulic functions. Monitor pump temperature during the first hour of operation — excessive heat indicates improper coupling alignment or restricted flow. Change hydraulic oil and filters per manufacturer schedule. For forklift fleet dual gear pump replacement, contact us. Kingstream OEM.
