When the operator activates any hydraulic function, the electric motor starts and drives the pump, supplying oil to the multi-way valve. INSTALLATION: Relieve hydraulic system pressure by cycling all functions with the power off. Disconnect and label the pressure inlet hose, tank return hose, and all cylinder work port hoses from the corresponding valve sections. Disconnect the control lever linkages or cables from the spool ends. Unbolt the valve from its mounting bracket. Install the new valve ensuring correct orientation of P and T ports. Reconnect all hoses with new O-rings — each spool section controls a specific function and hoses must be connected to the correct ports. Reconnect control lever linkages and adjust for proper lever travel. Refill hydraulic fluid and bleed air by cycling all three functions 5-10 times.
